Simon thank you for the lovely podcast about scrapbooking thoroughly informative I’m just newbie in it have done a couple for friends , yesterday i created one ( just decorated the front of the album ) for my sons birthday where all the guest had to take a photo and add a comment great fun ( I do have a Hp photo printer that a left on the kitchen bench ) keeper up.. thank you xxx Joana

Just spent a very happy 20 minutes listening to your podcast, Uncle Simon, it was very informative and I managed to drink a cup of herbal tea; dust and polish my workstation; service my printer AND check my tasks for April! That’s what I call MULTI-TASKING! Looking forward to the next one re rubber stamping ‘cos I never quite know which pad to use for what! Cheers XXX

Goodness so much to remember and do. Will make a start on one of my scrapbooks this (April) month. Think it will have to be the oldfashioned way though - digital seems to technical for me.

Brilliant 2nd episode Simon. Do tend to agree with you re decoupage and am into more creative stamping etc., However, many do enjoy it - suppose that is why we are all so individual in our tastes as it makes for an interesting topic. Love all the new and innovative technics which are progressing and your talk certainly gives everyone an insight into these. Well done!!

Another great podcast Simon, really enjoyed it! I think decoupage is relaxing and satisfying and when you want to do a bit of crafting but don’t want to create a great big mess it’s perfect! Looking forward to next time xx

another brilliant podcast Simon - many thanks for that, I enjoyed listening as I was crafting. I used to do loads of decoupage and even made a living from it for a couple of years buying papers in bulk from Holland and selling here before you could get it easily. But must admit I am fast going off it and rarely do it now despite having a very large drawer full of papers I will probably never use. There are so many new styles evolving now I think we all change our styles and techniques on a regular basis which helps to keep our crafting fresh and pleasurable.

Nice musical touches Simon! Decoupage is something I rarely do, but I decided to do decoupage cards for my relatives last christmas. Amazingly everybody loved them! The rabbit/birdy/squirrel snow scene one I did, especially for my bunny loving sister, was really lovely! I was so impressed that I have vowed to make more of them!

Another fine podcast, Simon, full of interesting topics. I appreciate your tips on altered art - I may give it a go although I don’t have ANY of the inks etc you mentioned. Re decoupage - I do enjoy the occasional bit of cutting out and sticking down, but I wouldn’t actually call it a ‘craft’ - it is just a technique, and can be very effective. I was pleased, at first, to hear you make mention of the Pet Forum, but now realise you slipped in a tiny admonishment - clever Uncle Simon!! I’m off to check on the blog. Cheers X

I dont do a lot of decoupage but I do enjoy it. I agree that the shopping channels are cashing-in a bit but the best thing to do is buy a CD with lot of decoupage on it and you can print out just as much as you need. Each to their own Simon, as much as I like using the inks, some of it just looks plain messy ( now I am getting controversial!!) so let the decoupage devotees get on with it- they do some lovely work.

I just listened for the first time and loved every minute,now I,m off to listen to Shakespeare and look at the blog photos, and no I don’t like doing decoupage either
